Eni Engineering Academy: technical training and placement
With a more direct entry oriented setting, the Eni Engineering Academy is aimed at young engineers interested in entering the EniProjects, the group's engineering company.
The three-month program combines technical training and practical activities, incorporating on-the-job training, English-language lectures, site visits, role-playing, and 3D simulations. The goal is to prepare participants to face complex operational environments. Upon completion of the program, they will be offered permanent positions within the company.
The Academy is addressed to master's graduates in 12 engineering specializations, with less than three years of experience, offering opportunities ranging from onshore and offshore design to renewable technologies, naval construction and innovative systems. Open positions include roles such as Process Engineer, Piping Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Instrumentation & Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Civil & Structural Engineer, Naval Engineer, Safety Engineer, Renewables Engineer e Project Engineer, with work primarily in San Donato Milanese and possible travel. Gems: Geosciences, Data, and Energy Resources
For those with a STEM background, the Gems program (Geoscience for Energy – Eni Master School) represents a highly specialized path, designed to integrate scientific skills and applications in the energy sector.
The master's degree is aimed at graduates in geosciences, physics, mathematics or engineering and is developed in nine months all in English language, combining theory and practice through lectures, workshops, fieldwork, and a final project. Content ranges from geology and geophysics to data science and resource exploration and evaluation techniques, highlighting the growing integration between scientific disciplines and data analysis.
Teaching is enriched by the presence of Eni managers and experts, supported by academics from Italian and international universities, with a strong focus on the practical application of knowledge. The program is fully funded and includes a monthly scholarship of 1.500 euros gross. However, this is a highly selective program, limited to a maximum of 20 participants, with requirements such as a minimum degree grade of 100/110, being under 29 years of age by December 31, 2026, and having a STEM background related to geosciences.

The program, now in its 22nd edition, is divided into in two stages: an initial eight-month academic program, with the option to choose between the "Reservoir" and "Drilling & Production" specializations, followed by a four-month internship. This program allows students to develop a 360-degree view of the energy sector, integrating technical skills related to traditional energy with topics such as digitalization and energy transition.
MiNDS is also fully funded by Eni and includes a monthly scholarship of 1.500 euros gross, in addition to awarding an academic degree from the Polytechnic University of Turin. Information on admission requirements will be made available in the coming months, while the master's program is scheduled to begin in January 2027.
