The Mercedes driven by Lewis Hamilton won the Chinese Grand Prix, the second race of the 2017 Formula 1 season. On the Shanghai circuit, the English driver preceded the Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel, who finished second, and the Red Bull of Max Verstappen, who started 16/o and finished third at the finish line. Fourth position for Daniel Ricciardo's other Red Bull, fifth for Kimi Raikkonen's Red Bull. For Hamilton, who joins Vettel at the top of the world standings, it is the fifth victory in China.
MotoGp is also on the track today: Marc Marquez took pole in the Argentine GP. The Spaniard from Honda, with a time of 1'47"512, was faster than the Czech Karel Abraham, on Ducati, at 0.763; third was the British Cal Crutchlow (Honda) at 0.766. Only 6/o the Spanish Maverick Vinales (Yamaha), ruler of yesterday's free practice, at 1″706. Valentino Rossi, who risked starting from the rear, recorded the 7th time, 1"760 behind Marquez.
