Inflation slightly up in the Eurozone. In November, the annual rate in the currency union, calculated by Eurostat, was attested at 0,9% against 0,7% in October, far from the 2% target set by the ECB.
In the EU of 28, however, inflation rose to 1% from 0,9% the previous month. However, the annual increase in prices remains limited: in November 2012 it was 2,2% in the Eurozone and 2,4% in the EU 28.
The most significant increases are those recorded by electricity, hotel services and tobacco. The prices of fuel for transport, telecommunications and liquid fuels are down.
Again according to Eurostat, overall the hourly cost of labor remains stable, which in the third quarter recorded an annual growth of 1% both in the Eurozone and in the EU 28. In the previous quarter, in both cases, the increase was '1,1%.
