Raffaele Boscaini is the new president of Confindustria Veneto. The members of the Veneto Presidency Council, made up of the President of the Veneto Regional Confindustria, the Presidents of the member Associations, the President of Small Industry and the President of Young Entrepreneurs, unanimously voted for the name of the Veronese entrepreneur. Boscaini elected with the full support of territorial associations
As foreseen by the new Statute of Confindustria Veneto, quorum reached necessary for the election which requires the following conditions to be met simultaneously: obtaining 65% of the votes assigned on a percentage basis to each Territorial Association; favorable vote of at least three Effective Members (i.e., the Territorial Associations); favorable vote of the majority of the members of the Presidential Council. Raffaele Boscaini belongs to a family that produces wines from the Venetian regions for seven generations. After high school he obtained a diploma from the prestigious “Wine and Spirit Educational Trust” Institute in Great Britain. Within Masi he sits on the Board of Directors and after a career that has seen him cover technical and administrative roles of increasing responsibility, he currently deals in particular with aspects related to marketing and for years has been General Coordinator of the Technical Group, a team of experts in various disciplines, from oenology to agronomy, to marketing, to which we owe the technical progress and high quality of the Company's wines. From 2016 to 2022 he was a member of the Consilium of the Management Department of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. In the Confindustria system from 2011 to 2013 he was President of Confindustria Veneto Agroalimentare and from 2017 to 2021 Councilor Delegate for Agroindustrial Policies, again of Confindustria Veneto. He is currently President of Confindustria Verona and member of the National General Council of Confindustria for the four-year period 2021-2025.
