The Conference to be held in Rome has been defined as "a new collaboration between institutions, government and businesses to give impact to Italy's international projection and contribute to the debate on the creation of a new entity to more effectively accompany businesses on foreign markets". At the center of the work of the next states general of foreign trade, in Rome on 28 and 29 October, will be the proposals conceived by the entrepreneurs (about a thousand will participate). These proposals, developed from the discussion in the 6 working tables (Agri-food; Environment/energy; Furniture-home system; Automation - Mechanics - Mobility; Clothing - Personal system and Services) will be part of the Manifesto for the relaunch of Made in Italy which will be presented to the government at 12 on Saturday 29.
On the opening day, Friday 28 October, the session will begin at 15 pm with the speech of the Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade, Catia Polidori, patroness of the event. Speeches by Franco Frattini, Minister of Foreign Affairs will follow; Karel De Gucht, European Commissioner for Trade; Marcin Korolec, President of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Trade (EU); Lamberto Zannier, general secretary of the OECD; Saverio Romano, minister of agricultural policies. The work will be concluded by the prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi.
The next day, Saturday 29, the session will open at 9.00 with the intervention of the Premier's adviser for exports, Massimo Calearo Ciman, followed by the intervention of Gian Mario Spacca, president of the Marche Region. At 12, the team of Made in Italy big names will present the relaunch proposals, drawn up in the previous months, to the government. The conclusions were drawn by Antonio Tajani, EU Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship and Paolo Romani, Minister of Economic Development. The latter will probably relaunch the latest version on the construction of the Export Agency, envisaged but not yet defined in the draft of the Development Decree which has been eagerly discussed in these hours.
