Bpm bank has allocated a ceiling of 3 billion euro for the internationalization of businesses. Part of the amount, 500 million euros, is earmarked to support activities on the Indian market, “which today represents one of the most dynamic and significant economies on a global level,” the bank underlines in a note, describing the New Delhi economic area as “rich in great opportunities for Italian companies, by virtue of a young and growing population and public policies strongly oriented towards investment.” Banco Bpm has also had a representative office in Mumbai for over 25 years.
The details of the project
The initiative includes a financial solutions and specialized services, designed to support the international expansion process. The credit line offers flexible and modular tools such as, for example, short-term financing Dedicated to supporting working capital needs, medium- to long-term financing aimed at supporting international growth plans, investment projects, and industrial development, such as the creation of new industrial sites or potential M&A transactions; consulting for commercial expansion, strengthening distribution networks, issuing guarantees for participation in international tenders, or managing contractual relationships with foreign counterparties.
