The initiative, promoted by AnciComunicare with the patronage of the Anci and the FiberCop technical support, is proposed as space for direct comparison with the Municipalities: an opportunity to share expertise, define common strategies, and foster the construction of resilient digital networks, essential for smarter cities, advanced services, and truly connected communities.

The Roman stage brought together administrators and technicians for an operational discussion on How to accelerate the digital transition starting from the webAmong the participants, James Angeloni, Councilor for Innovation and Simplification of the Municipality of Bergamo, together with representatives of the Municipalities of Galatina (Lecce) and Grassano (Matera). From the debate a shared belief emerged: the Municipalities are at the heart of building advanced digital ecosystemsThey are the ones who guide partnerships with private individuals, govern authorization processes and integrate new networks with local services, becoming protagonists in reducing the digital divide.
On the technical front, Angela Gargano, Public Affairs Director, and Roberto Chiappini, Development Manager, illustrated the technological architecture and the operating methods with which Fibercop supports the territories in the construction of the fiber optic network. The focus was on innovative excavation techniques, In particular the microtrench: a reduced-section methodology that allows for limiting the impact on public land, reducing work times and costs, and speeding up the restoration of the road surface.
