“And the Oscar goes to…”, a phrase that we have heard hundreds and hundreds of times by now, but which every year is eagerly awaited by spectators and insiders. The nominations for the 2019 Oscars have finally been announced. The ceremony will be held on February 24th.
Among the films that have received the most nominations, “Roma” and “La favorita” stand out, with 10 nominations each. A Star is Born and Vice follow with eight nominations. Instead, the Marvel film “Black Panther” and Spike Lee's new effort “BlacKkKlansman” reached 6 nominations. There is no Italian film in the running this year.
