Four deaths on Thursday: one in the Venetian area, one in the province of Arezzo and two near Rome – Between Sunday and Monday, six people had died in various regions due to the "Zissi" cyclone.

Bad weather: 10 victims in 5 days

The death toll caused by bad weather has risen: 10 in the last 5 days. On Thursday the lifeless body of an elderly man was recovered by divers from the fire brigade in a canal in the Venetian area, in the locality of Cazzago di Pianiga.

Another person died after being run over by a tree that fell due to bad weather in Castel San Niccolò, in the province of Arezzo. The tragedy took place on Thursday in Garliano, around 18pm.

Also yesterday, near Rome, two people died and a third was injured when a tree fell and hit the car in which they were travelling. It happened in via dei Colli Marini at km 36 of via Laurentina, in Tor San Lorenzo, in the municipality of Ardea.

After hours of work, the firefighters managed to free the woman injured in the accident from the sheets, who was transported to the hospital in code red.

Between Sunday and Monday, six people had died in various regions due to the "Zissi" cyclone.

Tomorrow will be a Saturday of severe bad weather over much of the north, thunderstorms over the central Tyrrhenian regions, abundant snow in the Alps even at low altitudes.
