Generali Italia focuses on innovation. The company led by Marco Sesana has signed a cloud-based agreement with Google. The partnership aims to develop customized products and services, to push the evolution of digital technology to support networks and the transformation of the customer interaction model. All of this will be made possible by the technology and services that characterize the big G cloud.
Going into details, the agreement provides for three different areas of intervention: the first is based on the pan-European platform on service management of connected mobility that the Generali group is preparing to launch starting from Italy. The second concerns the greater possibilities of personalization and innovation of services to be offered to retail and corporate customers in order to improve the relationship between customers and agents. The aim will also be pursued through the third area of intervention which plans to improve the services on offer through faster process management thanks to the use of machine learning made available by Google Cloud platforms.
From a practical point of view, the Innovation Park of Mogliano Veneto, a laboratory will be opened in which Generali Italia employees and experts will be supported by Google personnel in the conception and industrialization of innovative products and services. There is also a training program on new technologies and skills of the future, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. “Over the next three years – says Generali Italia – the company expects a 30% increase in training in these areas.
