Positive first quarter for Fastweb which closed the period with growing revenues and ebitda driven by the performance of the mobile and Wholesale and Enterprise segments.
Fastweb's first quarter
In the first three months of 2024, the telco delivered revenues of 658 million euros, up 6% compared to the same period of the previous year. Also rising (+2%)'overall ebitda, which reached 192 million, while the ebitda including rental costs stood at 179 million euros, also growing by 2%.
In the first quarter of the year, investments they reached 157 million euros, an amount equal to 24% of revenues. During the period the company acquired 155.000 new customers overall in the segments of fixed, mobile and wholesale access services, equal to an increase of 2% compared to the customer base at the end of 2023. The number of fixed market customers (retail and wholesale) grew by 4,5% to 3,3 million customers, while 2.325.000 customers as of March 31, 2024 activated a ultra-broadband connectivity service Fastweb.
Mobile, enterprise, wholesale
It grows by double digits mobile segment, also thanks to the distribution agreement signed in recent months with a national operator. The customer base stands at 3.611.000 active SIMs, up 12% compared to the first quarter of 2023.
The performance is also excellentto Enterprise Business Unit which records revenues of 284 million euros in the first quarter of the year (+9% compared to the first quarter of 2023). The numbers are also growing Wholesale division, with revenues of 86 million, up by +18% compared to the first three months of 2023. The number of ultra-broadband lines supplied to other national operators rose to 720.000, marking a +45% compared to the same period of 2023.
