Enel X and Infracapital create a platform for energy efficiency

Agreement between Enel X and Infracapital, the European investment fund of M&G Prudential. The two companies have signed an agreement aimed at creating a platform dedicated to energy efficiency projects for commercial and industrial customers.

Under the agreement, Enel X will sell 11 cogeneration and trigeneration plants from its portfolio in Italy, for a total of 27,5 MW. Enel X will maintain the management of the CHP (Combined Heat and Power) plants and will take care of the supply of a series of integrated services to the end customer ranging from the assessment of energy needs to the creation and management of high-efficiency technical solutions that optimize consume.

Infracapital, for its part, will acquire 80% of the corporate vehicle and will finance the growth of the customer portfolio in Italy and abroad.
