Family Economy: shareholder rights, that's what they are

VIDEO – The FamilyMI project, created by the Global Thinking Foundation in collaboration with the Foundation for Financial Education and Savings, together with the Milan Polytechnic Foundation, was born from the need to offer support to the debate on financial evolution and the so-called " financial inclusion” to the families of Millennials (born between 1980 and 2000) in the Milan area and province. By offering an explanatory and exhaustive means of rearranging the concepts that make up today's finance, we intend to include subjects who are unable to independently access the most common financial perspectives, in terms of services and facilities normally dedicated to risk groups, especially families of the Millennials.

Family Economy: shareholder rights, that's what they are

Not only rules, also many rights!

In this video, Diego attracted by the earnings that a friend of his managed to obtain by investing in the shares of the company TDF SpA, decides to enter the stock market by investing a fair amount in the purchase of shares of the same company. Purchasing shares means becoming a shareholder of the company and as such acquiring a series of rights such as participating in company meetings and casting one's vote, as explained in our Glossary with over 1200 exercises: Redooc. In addition, our protagonist can view the corporate books, which summarize all the information of the company and challenge the resolutions of the shareholders' meeting that are contrary to the law or the company's statute.
