Graphene made in Italy by Direct Plus land at the London Stock Exchange and immediately start racing. The Italian graphene company debuted this morning in the Aim segment of the London Stock Exchange and recorded a jump of 30% to 1,04 pounds against a placement price of 75 pence. In the Directa Plus placement it raised around £12,8 million.
The company is based in Lomazzo in the province of Como, and is one of the major producers and suppliers of graphene-based products for international markets. The graphene it is considered one of the most interesting materials, thanks to its great versatility, and is therefore defined as the "plastic of the future". Among the uses of graphene, which is made up of a single layer of carbon atoms, are applications in markets such as catalysis, energy storage and composites. Directa Plus owns the largest European plant for the generation of highly pure graphene sheets.
