The Compagnia di San Paolo is preparing for the departure of the general secretary, Piero Gastaldo, who could leave by the end of 2018.
"There is still no precise deadline – explained Gastaldo himself – We will take all the necessary steps: I will leave when the conditions exist to do so".

“We'll see, but it seems right to me considering that this year I'm 20 years in the Company and I'm 64 years old. Replacing a person with Gastaldo's preparation and experience will not be easy, ”the president Francesco Profumo noted on his part.
