In June, FCA once again beat the market in Europe. Fiat Chrysler registrations increased by 12,9% compared to the +6,5% recorded by the average of all car manufacturers. FCA sales were around 98.700 for a 6,5% share, up 0,3 percentage points.

Even in the progressive year - underlines a note from the group - FCA's growth was better than that of the market. FCA registrations in the first half of the year were almost 551 thousand, 16,8% more than in the same period of 2015, in a market that grew by 9,1%.

In June, FCA increased its sales in all major countries by values ​​significantly higher than the market average: in Italy (+13,5% compared to the market's +11,9%), in Germany (+15,3% in a market up by 8,4%), in France (registrations up by 7% compared to the +0,8% of the market), in the United Kingdom (+7,6% in a market down by 0,8%) and in Spain, where FCA registrations increased by 27,5% in a market that grew by 11,2%.

Once again the 500 and the Panda dominate the sales of city cars with a share close to 29%. The 500L is the best-selling in its segment, with a 29,8% share. The 500X and Renegade also did well – permanently at the top of their segment – ​​and Tipo, which continues to climb the sales charts.

Also in June, there were 75.600 registrations of the Fiat brand in Europe, with an increase of 13,9% compared to the same month in 2015: the brand has been consecutively increasing registrations since September 2014. The share was 5%, up 0,3 percentage points compared to June 2015.

In addition to the positive result in Italy, where it increased sales by 13,9%, in June the brand improved its performance in all the main European markets with values ​​higher than those of the market: in Germany (+11,7%), in France (+9,7%), in the United Kingdom (+1,2%) and in Spain (+37,2%).

In the first six months of the year, Fiat registered 419 cars, 17,6% more than in the first half of 2015, obtaining a share of 5,2%, 0,4 percentage points more than the Last year.
