Bowmore ARC-52 Mokume Edition will be offered auctioned by Sotheby's a London il 26 May 2023, with an estimate of 140.000-220.000 pounds (175.000-275.000 dollars). The winning bidder will also have the opportunity to experience the Bowmore Distillery and on Islay, trying theAston Martin DBX Bowmore Edition limited edition, the first SUV from brand luxury. Bowmore Single Malt Whiskey and Aston Martin: a unique bottle

The two brands will unite once again to produce a single bottle of one of the oldest whiskeys of the distillery, the precious distillate enclosed within a revolutionary Aston Martin design. A single decanter containing a special assemblage of the 52 year old vintage whiskey was created as a totally unique objet d'art that will never be repeated again. Like the vessel in which it is served, the whiskey is also unique: a spectacular blend of some of Bowmore's oldest vintages from the 60s, an iconic era of Bowmore distilling, created by Ron Welsh, Master Blender.

The idea for the Bowmore ARC-52 decanter was to trace a journey from the past to the present – ​​the arc of time – with a futuristic version of a whiskey container. The design seamlessly blends natural and man-made contours, its shape appearing to be nearly weightless as it balances on two points. The starting point was rooted in Aston Martin design principles, to create proportions that appear stable, yet refined and light, a balance that is one of the driving imperatives in automotive design. The ship's design incorporates the latest 3D printing and handcrafted clay modeling in the making of its shape.
