Germany: Zew index beyond expectations at 54,6

Confidence in the German economy is growing: the Zew Index, in fact, it rose to 54,6 in November, exceeding analysts' expectations, at 54,0, and reaching its highest level since October 2009. In October, the index stopped at 52,8. The current conditions indicator fell to 28,7 from 29,7 in October, below expectations at 31,0.

According to the Zew institute, the improvements in economic prospects in the Eurozone would weigh on the increase in German investor confidence.
