They found him this morning at his home in Zurich. Pierre Wauthier, chief financial officer of Zurich Insurance Group, was lifeless. The news was released by the insurance group in a note. 

The investigations by the Swiss police are underway and for now the causes of death have not been disclosed. The CEO of the company, Martin Senn, has expressed his "sadness" for the disappearance of the manager. 

Wauthier, 53, had worked for Zurich Insurance since 1996. In 2011, he was promoted to head Zurich's finance division. After graduating in economics from the Sorbonne, he began his career as a manager in the Kpmg insurance company. 

At the same time, Zurich communicated that the ad interim management of the finance branch will be entrusted to Vibu Sharma, a manager of the group. At the end of July, another manager, Swisscom boss Carsten Schloter, was found dead in his home.
