To decree it World's Best Vineyards 2022, the prestigious ranking that brings together the most suggestive wineries from all over the world.

The Voting Academy, made up of over 500 wine connoisseurs, sommeliers and travel and tourism experts, expressed themselves in this sense by evaluating the quality of the overall experience, the atmosphere, the cuisine, the activities, the landscape, the staff and the value for money. "There Antinori winery – reads the reasons for the awarding of the prize – it was designed to combine production functionality and aesthetic beauty. Covered by vineyards and hidden among olive trees and woods, it stands out for its low environmental impact and high energy savings. It symbolizes the historic and deep bond between the Antinori family and the ancient wine-growing area of Chianti Classico which has always welcomed the family's vineyards. In seven years of work, the cellar was built on a project by the architect Marco Casamonti, founder of the Archea Associati studio, with the engineering of Hydea, following the indications of the Antinori family. The cellar can be visited by the public along an oenological, tasting, architectural and artistic itinerary”.

Marco Casamonti, Founder of Archea Associati of Florence, has designed numerous contemporary buildings in Italy and abroad, including the restyling of the new stadiums in Tirana and Udine, the municipal library of Nembro (Bergamo), the expansion and redevelopment of the headquarters Perfetti Van Melle in Lainate near Milan, the Yanqing Grape Expo near Beijing, the Li Ling World Ceramic Art City in China, the Colle Loreto residential complex in Lugano, the recovery and transformation of the former Magazzino Vini in Trieste by Eataly, the recovery and transformation of the Valletta Central Market in Malta. Also currently under construction is the Changri-La winery in Penglai (China) and the new Fiorentina sports centre.
