Women's businesses in mountain towns have the opportunity to innovate and accept the challenge of the new economy. On the place of the Department for Regional Affairs and Autonomies (DARA) the tender "Innovative mountain women's enterprises - IFIM, which finances investment programs with a high technological content. The equipment is 3,9 million euro and applications can be submitted from 30 May next. The Union of Mountain Municipalities (Uncem) is also in favor of the operation. "There is work in mountain areas and it is capable of transforming territories that were poor and abandoned until yesterday," he says Marco Bussone, President of Uncem. The precondition for accessing funding is the location of the company or a branch in one of the mountain municipalities indicated in the annex to the notice. The concessions take the form of a non-repayable grant of up to 70% of eligible expenses. However, the programs must not exceed 100 million euros. The incentives are managed by Invitalia and funding can be requested for innovative start-ups made up mainly of women, whether joint stock companies or cooperatives. The tender is part of the Fund for the development of the Italian mountains which supports production and territorial protection initiatives, especially in this phase of technological innovation and environmental transition. More than 10 million people live in the mountain towns and many young people set up their own businesses for both tourism and manufacturing or craft purposes. Even in this context, women are excellent. Behind the efforts to open the businesses there is the conviction not to abandon territories that are precious for history and the economy. Environmental value and traditions are the ingredients of success stories that have helped generations to live and progress in locations far from cities and easy mobility.
Women's businesses territorial force
Among the main eligibility requirements for the call of 30 May is that at the time of submitting the application, the women's enterprise must be registered in the special section of the Business Register, be made up of no more than sixty months and have a small size. Each subject can submit only one application and the investment program must be aimed at the purchase of plants, machinery and equipment, hardware and software, patents and licenses. The notice also includes consultancy costs of up to 20% of the total costs. A composite world and growing with young female graduates or specialists. There are 1.337 female enterprises throughout Italy, equal to over 20% of the total number of enterprises and in words. This time the mountain ones have the opportunity to present projects for the economic valorisation of the territory, the development of products or services as long as everything is done within 18 months from the date of admission to the concessions. For Uncem we are at a change of pace despite the fact that the institutions are not very close to the companies that are born in the Alps and in the Apennines. The main observation concerns the birth of new initiatives net of the generational handovers from father to son. The potential of the Italian mountains are, on the other hand, multiple and for this reason they continue to underestimate the "mountain system" it is no longer acceptable. “For a young man, finding the land and some resources to leave is not easy. Employers' associations, such as Confindustria and ConfCooperative, Confartigianato and CNA, have created specific operational groups dedicated to mountain areas. This too is a good sign of the times” recalls Bussone. Among the valid examples of collaboration is cited the Garrone Foundation with RestartApp and RestarAlp "campuses that should be promoted, paid for, created everywhere by public institutions". Maybe. For now there is a tender that helps ladies and girls.
