At the halfway point of the year, Wind showed revenues up by 1,6% (2,75 billion euros) and skyrocketing profits compared to the same period of 2010: +59%, to 26 million. Between January and June, mobile customers rose to 20,6 million (+6,7%), fixed line customers to 3,3 million (+7,7%) and broadband customers to 2,08 million (+18 %).
“The economic context has become more difficult and the challenges are considerable – commented the CEO of Wind, Ossama Bessada -, but Wind continues to achieve results superior to the market in terms of value generation and customer growth thanks to our strong management team and the dedication of our employees”.
