The union representatives and those of Wind, after more than 20 hours of negotiations with the Ministry of Economic Development, have reached an agreement, which provides for a cut in labor costs for an amount between 35 and 40 million euros, to avoid network outsourcing, which was initially in the company's plans. 

Satisfied Giorgio Serao of Fistel Cisl: "Positivo that the company has undertaken for 5 years not to sell or outsource", as well as the national secretary of Uilcom Salvo Ugliarolo, who speaks of sacrifices for workers, but adds that "the company it has undertaken to maintain the uniqueness of the perimeter and to reinvest”.
The outsourcing plan had been put in place by Wind as early as 2011 and Ericsson and Huawei had declared their interest in purchasing the approximately 1.700 network technicians. Then the decisive intervention of the Ministry of Economic Development which, after asking for a 6-month moratorium, favored negotiations with the unions.
