The signature arrives on the new industrial plan of Whirlpool. In the late morning of today, at Palazzo Chigi, the agreement between Whirlpoll and the unions was signed in front of the premier Matteo Renzi, landlord. The agreement made official today provides for a new industrial plan of the American company which aims to relaunch the Italian plants and a total investment from 513 million euros for the next 4 years.

In the words of Minister Federica Guidi there is also a clear mention of the issue of redundancies at Whirlpool: “It's a very important agreement, with an industrial plan that has been modified in the most difficult parts. There are no more redundancies and all factories have an industrial mission. After 5 months of very bitter negotiations at the Ministry of Economic Development, this morning Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, the Minister of Development Federica Guidi, the Undersecretary of Labor Teresa Bellanova and the leaders of Fim, Fiom, Uilm and Ugl Marco Bentivogli, Maurizio Landini, Rocco Palombella and Antonio Spera put pen to paper the agreement with the multinational with stars and stripes.
