The main films coming out this week, for a weekend at the Cinema.

Ghost in the shellby Rupert Sanders

For many, the most awaited film of the week. Based on the world-famous Japanese manga, "The Ghost in the Shell" by Masamune Shirow, the film is set in the not-too-distant future in which Scarlett Johansson plays the Major, a hybrid between a cyborg and a human being. But while facing a terrible threat, the Major finds himself discovering even the most terrible and distressing truths about himself. Between science fiction and action, with a first-rate cast, an announced show.

Permission – 48 hours outby Claudio Amendola

Amendola tries his hand at his second direction, 4 years after "La Mossa del Penguino", in a drama tinged with a dark but dry and essential thriller: four prisoners are granted a 48-hour permit outside the penitentiary of Civitavecchia. Each of them must choose how to spend this time, between revenge, redemption, love and ransom. In the cast, a Luca Argentero stands out in great shape.

The truth, I tell you, about loveby Max Croci

Another Italian film, although this time it's a romantic comedy, inspired by the book of the same name and the successful blog TiAsmo. Dora, played by a brilliant Ambra Angiolini, is left by her partner after seven years and two children. After an initial crisis, she finds the courage to try to rebuild her life.

the red turtle, by Michael Dudok de Wit

Oscar nominated for best animated film, it tells the story of a castaway who ends up on a deserted island, from which an animal prevents him from escaping. It is, in fact, a red turtle. Co-produced by Studio Ghibli, it is a visually unforgettable work, halfway between a fairy tale and a nature documentary. At times difficult to follow, but enormously fascinating.
