Summer goes on break for three days: the cyclone Circe with rain, wind and cold. After a long phase of heat - unbearable - Cyclone Circe will hit Italy for the whole weekend, from North to South, bringing a decisive drop in temperatures (at least 10 degrees) accompanied by leopard-like downpours. This is confirmed by Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologist of the iLMeteo.it site, who confirms the abrupt change weather: the weather will remember autumn more than summer, but for a short time. The good weather will return as early as Monday 7 with more "traditional" temperatures. A situation that should continue until Ferragosto, when the African anticyclone could reappear on Italy bringing intense heat again.
Starting today, Friday August 4, showers and thunderstorms will mainly affect the central-northern regions, locally with phenomena of high intensity and risk of storms, hail and strong gusts of wind. It will be a cloudy day for Sardinia, clear or partly cloudy for the South and Sicily, but with clouds and some rain in the evening in the North of the island. Temperatures will drop especially in the North, Center and Sardinia.
Due to bad weather, the Regional Civil Protection ha issued for Friday, orange weather alert for thunderstorms in Lombardy and Marche and yellow weather alert in 12 Regions: Marche, Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont, Tuscany, Trentino Alto Adige, Umbria, Veneto. For Friuli Venezia Giulia, the yellow alert is only for hydrogeological risk.

The weather forecast for the first weekend of August
