Attila, the nucleus of cold air of arctic origin, has arrived in Italy bringing rain, snow, low temperatures and consequently inconvenience. Bad weather is destined to affect the Peninsula for most of the week, mainly affecting the Northeast and Tyrrhenian regions.

It is a low pressure of Scandinavian origin that began to attack Italy from Monday morning with strong winds, widespread rainfall and winter weather. An intense snowfall even unleashed Bologna, creating problems for urban transport and railway traffic.

Rain and wind are also hitting Piedmont, Trentino and Veneto with force. In Venice the tide reached a maximum of 81 cm. Inconvenience also in Rome, where numerous trees have fallen north of the capital, slowing down urban traffic.

Attila will gradually move towards the Adriatic sectors with locally intense rains and thunderstorms. Storms over Romagna and northern Marche are expected until 16 November. Snow will fall at low altitudes in the North and above 3/400 meters in Tuscany. Temperatures are rapidly decreasing, reaching an average of 5-8 degrees.
