Weather, bad weather alert in the North and in Calabria: autumn trials

The effects of the continue Atlantic disturbance which from Friday evening and throughout the weekend will affect a large part of Northern Italy with temporal also of high intensity and violent hailstorms, particularly in the central-eastern sectors, and then extended also to the central regions of the Adriatic coast, leading almost everywhere to a sharp drop in temperatures. In some regions it will be the autumn general rehearsal, with the thermometer marking up to 10 degrees lower than in the last few days. Even in the South, where it has been raining for a few days, a depression still persists. A general improvement will occur between Sunday and Monday, with the return of the sun especially in the centre-north and with temperatures that will continue to be pleasant, with highs between 24 and 29 degrees, almost everywhere from north to south.

But first there is the late summer storm to overcome, for which the Department of the Civil protection, in agreement with the regions involved, which are different, especially in the North and on the Adriatic side (but also Calabria), has issued a warning of adverse weather conditions: the weather phenomena, impacting on the various areas of the country, could cause critical issues hydrogeological and hydraulic. Initially the most critical situation is marked on PiemonteLombardiaVenetoFriuli Venezia Giulia ed Emilia Romagna, with high and punctually even very high contributions, especially in the north-eastern sectors, and with possible snowfalls in the mountains, already around 1.800-2.000 metres. The yellow level alert was triggered in almost the whole country, but in the Triveneto and Lombardy it is orange level, as well as in Calabria. Storm surges and very strong winds from the north are also expected (the mistral on the Tyrrhenian side, the bora on the north-eastern side). I'm in Genoa by virtue of the bad weather operations on the Morandi bridge suspended for safety reasons (in Liguria, however, the alert is yellow).
