A secret summit for the dark side of finance. On the sidelines of the G20 meeting in Los Cabos it emerged that in the coming days, away from prying eyes, EU, IMF and US Sherpas to meet in Washington with a delegation from Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley. This was revealed by the Bloomberg agency. Theme of the summit: the discipline of trading on derivatives, the "black hole" of shadow finance remained wild despite the good intentions after the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers.

Meanwhile, in Mexico, the finance ministers and central bankers of the world's 20 largest economies have said they want to "promote robust growth and job creation", as well as continue to address "the ongoing economic and fiscal challenges" . This is what we read in the final communiqué of the G20.

“The main focus remains the reconstruction of confidence – the text continues -, the reduction of risks and volatility in the international financial markets. Economic growth "remains modest and the risks of a further contraction are still high". Among these, the press release refers, among others, to possible delays in the "complex implementation of the recent measures announced in Europe", to "a possible fiscal tightening in the United States" and to the "weak growth of emerging markets".
