Wall Street collects records and the Ftse Mib is close to 27

The new Wall Street records push up the European stock exchanges, with Piazza Affari nearly 27 thousand points. The international lists therefore continue to enjoy the quarterly effect and, after the accounts of Facebook and Tesla, are waiting to know the results of Microsoft, Alphabet, Visa and Twitter in the evening. Optimism reigns supreme and, after the peaks reached in yesterday's session, the Dow Jones and S & P 500 have updated their intraday records, galvanized by the performances disclosed to date: 84% of the companies that have published their quarterly reports have, in fact, recorded an earnings per share higher than the estimates. One exception, so far, is Lockheed Martin (-10,4%) which published accounts below expectations, reducing the sales prospects for 2021 and 2022.

Investor sentiment was also strengthened by macroeconomic data, all positive, on consumer confidence, manufacturing and the sale of new homes. Returning to the main indices, the absolute protagonist is the Nasdaq, which travels up by almost a percentage point despite the sharp decline of Facebook (-2%). The driving force is yet another exploit by Tesla that, after the +12,6% recorded yesterday, today travels up by 2,7%, with a capitalization of 1,056 billion dollars.

US enthusiasm is infecting Europe, which is enjoying its moment of grace in anticipation of the ECB meeting scheduled for Thursday. The best square is Madrid, up 1,14%. Also shop on Paris e Frankfurt, gaining 0,83% and 1% respectively. Outside the EU it is on the rise London (+ 0,76%).

A Business Square (+0,58% to 26.970 points) all eyes are still on Unibelievet (+1,57%) e Ps (+1,29%). The interruption of the negotiations between Piazza Gae Aulenti and the Mef brings back the banking risk which could also involve Bpm bank (+ 0,61%) and Bper (+0,3%). At the top of the Ftse Mib there is however pirelli, which closed the session with a 2,5% gain driven by Michelin's accounts and estimates. Other industrial sector stocks also rose sharply, with Interpump (+ 2,2%), Buzzi (+ 1,35%), stm (+ 1,46%) and Ferrari (+0,4%). Well managed savings with Banca Mediolanum (+ 1,5%).

The black jersey of the day is instead Campari (-4,2%), affected by earnings despite a quarterly higher than estimates. Also in red Amplifon (-2,8%), Saipem (-2,2%) And Moncler (-0,79%).

Turning to the other markets, the euro/dollar (1,1593 dollars) showed little movement on the currency, with the pound reaching a new high for the year the euro. Brent oil was stable, while the December future on the Wti rose by 0,74%, to 84,37 dollars a barrel. On the secondary, the spread rose to 105 basis points (+1,98%).
