Voucher: Inps has restored the activation procedure

Applies to job vouchers purchased before 17 March. Lots of protests after Monday's technical blockade. The procedure also covers collection and reimbursement. Clarification from the Ministry of Labour

Voucher: Inps has restored the activation procedure

The INPS has restored the telematic procedure for activating the vouchers purchased by Friday 17 March (date of entry into force of the decree law passed by the Council of Ministers which repealed them by providing for a transitional phase of their use until 31 December 2017), after the technical block yesterday. The procedure also covers the collection and reimbursement of job vouchers. Meanwhile the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, in a note, states that the use of vouchers until the end of the year "must be carried out in compliance with the provisions on ancillary work envisaged in the regulations subject to repeal by the decree".

The immediate cancellation - notes Ansa - caused inconvenience. But to this was added the total blackout also for those who, having prudently purchased the "vouchers" previously, were unable to activate them. Impossible to do it on the INPS website.

The institute explained the difficulties with the need to adjust the software: "It was in fact necessary to carry out technical modifications in order to inhibit the purchase and payment and leave only the activation process in place".

All day long the switchboards of the associations were ablaze with many protest emails from furious entrepreneurs. “I bought the vouchers and now I can't activate them,” says an entrepreneur. '

'I have a waiter on leave and I thought I could replace him by calling a person with a voucher, I couldn't do it. I thought there was a transitional phase until December 31st ”, says an incredulous restaurateur of the immediate effects of the decree.

The immediate arrival of the trap certainly caused more than a little discomfort. And maybe even some mess. While 'coupons' were already scarce at tobacconists on Friday morning before the CDM, due to the massive purchases of the previous day, they would also be sold at the post office on Saturday, the day the stop by decree came into force. These will not be activated and therefore it will be necessary to provide for a refund procedure.
