Cash voluntary, flat rate withdrawal at 35%

"It is absolutely not an amnesty", underlines Minister Padoan - The measure should be exclusively fiscal: there would be no shield for any criminal offenses connected to money

A new round of Voluntary disclosure also open toemergence of cash. This is foreseen by a provision included in the budget law which will be presented to the Chambers on 20 October.

"It is absolutely not an amnesty", underlined the Minister of Economy, Pier Carlo Padoan, in reference to the forthcoming re-edition of the voluntary disclosure (but also of the partial amnesty on the Equitalia folders). The hypothesis is to encourage the emergence of money which, once it has returned to the regular circuit, will then become a source of future taxation.

Taxpayers who decide to comply by taking advantage of this possibility would obtain advantages before the Revenue Agency, but not before the judge. It should be expected, in fact, a lump sum withdrawal around 35% to remedy the tax aspects, but there would be no shield for any criminal offenses connected to money.
