Volkswagen: half-year sales +8,9%

The black crisis in the auto sector does not affect the excessive power of Volkswagen. The largest car manufacturer in Europe closed the first half with sales up by 8,9%.

In the world, the German giant has registered 4,45 million units, an increase compared to the 4,09 million of the same period of 2011. The company points out that only in June the increase was 11%, equal to 798.500 units. The data is positive, but "no euphoria", warned Volkswagen sales director Christian Klingler: "The economic situation, especially in Western Europe, remains tense and difficult". In short, the second semester promises to be more challenging.
