Volkswagen increasingly leader of the European market, while no Fiat model enters the top ten

The German group places two models in the first two places of the ranking for the month of August: the queen is the Golf, with over 30 registrations (+18,3% compared to 2010). Ford and Opel also did well, Fiat out of the standings

Volkswagen confirms itself as the leader of the European car market, while no model of the group enters the ranking of the 10 best-selling cars of the month of August drawn up by Jato Dynamics Fiat.

To be exact, the best-selling car in Europe is still there Golf, with 31.434 registrations, in increase of 18,3% compared to the same month last year.

The leadership of the Volkswagen group is confirmed by the second place of VW Polo, with 21.828 deliveries (+3,4%).
In third place is instead Ford Focus with 17.859 units (+40,2%), ahead of Ford Fiesta with 17.521 cars (+4,6%).

Opel Corsa is in fifth place with 16.588 sales (+10,3%), ahead of the Opel Astra with 16.458 (+31%) and Vw Passat with 16.416 (+89,2%).

Eighth place for Renault Clio with 15.372 sales (-1,1%), Renault Megane with 13.022 (+2,6%) and Peugeot 206 with 12.770 deliveries (-11,9%).
