Volkswagen's worldwide sales are down: the German group saw its global sales drop by 0,5% in July, to 466.100 units, penalized above all by the European crisis, according to a statement from Volkswagen itself.
However, the German car manufacturer, European leader in the sector, also communicates that in the first 7 months of the year, sales still grew by 3,7% to 3,38 million units sold overall. However, the result in Western Europe (excluding Germany) was down: -6,8% to 492.400 vehicles placed in 7 months.
