HERE JUVE

“All the emotions you have given us are not worth the mistake of a championship. Gigi one of us”. With this beautiful banner hanging outside the Juventus Center, the Juventus fans wanted to encourage Buffon and at the same time close last Wednesday's ugly chapter. The Juventus number one's mistake complicated Antonio Conte's Scudetto plans a bit, but it certainly didn't compromise them. However, now the margin of error has disappeared and Juventus is preparing the match in Trieste without neglecting the slightest detail. Even yesterday the Vinovo sports center was a real laboratory, in which the Juventus coach worked on the athletic and tactical aspects. After an initial phase dedicated to muscle warm-up, the team focused on ball possession and tactics. Subsequently, midfielders and forwards competed in a series of shots, aimed at adjusting the aim on set pieces. The session took place strictly behind closed doors, but some "draught" filtered in anyway: Conte would seem oriented towards returning to 4-3-3. In fact, Pepe's recovery and De Ceglie's almost simultaneous injury would make us think of a three-pronged formation, but with the Juventus coach it is useless to make any predictions. Better to wait for today's press conference (Vinovo at 14 pm), even if Conte will hardly let anything slip away. Certainly De Ceglie's injury, much used in recent times, complicates the plans a bit: the left full-back suffered a first degree injury to the semi-tendinous muscle of the left thigh, in other words, his season is already over. Meanwhile, enthusiasm is growing in view of the match against Cagliari, which will be played tomorrow evening (20.45 pm) in Trieste. The Nereo Rocco stadium is almost sold out, so Juve will play "at home" again this time.

HERE MILAN

Thiago Silva can't make it. While awaiting the squad list (which will arrive in the afternoon), the chances of seeing the Brazilian on the field tomorrow night are reduced to a minimum. Thus continues the curse of Thiago, who has been forced into the pits since 23 March (Milan-Roma) due to a muscle problem. In reality, the green-and-gold centre-back has already been clinically healed for a couple of weeks, but he still doesn't feel like playing. Difficult (if not impossible) that Allegri, already abundantly criticized precisely for the management of Thiago, decides to risk it against his will. But at Milan they don't make drama, also because the worst is already over. In fact, the accident emergency is no longer there, and the results have already been seen. Yesterday Allegri was able to work with a large and motivated group, which competed in a training session made up of bulls and 10 against 10 ball possession. In addition to Thiago Silva, Pato also worked separately, while Antonini and Emanuelson carried out customized programmes. Different speech for Nesta, who tried his hand at the usual conservative therapy, a sort of individual work designed to ensure brilliance and recovery. At Milanello you can breathe the eve of great occasions and everyone is convinced that they can really make a comeback for Juventus. “We have shortened the distances, our goal is to believe in it until the end. – said Kevin Prince Boateng. – We deserve the Scudetto, despite Juve having a good season, but in any case we are ready to take advantage of their mistake". Christian Abbiati is also on the same wavelength: ” It's normal for Milan to believe in it and to fight until the end. There are only 2 races left and we have to do them in the best possible way. We have to think about winning, then hope for a misstep and still believe in it". Concepts that in all likelihood will be reaffirmed today by Massimiliano Allegri, who at 14 pm (again perfect contemporaneity!) will attend the usual press conference on the eve.
