VODAFONE ITALY

As for only Vodafone Italy, the semester ends with revenues from services to €2,249 billion, down 7,2% year-on-year. The result, explains the company, is influenced above all by the reduction in roaming traffic caused by the impact of the pandemic on the flows of foreign visitors entering and leaving Italy and by the ongoing competitive intensity in the mobile segment.

I revenues from fixed network services instead they increased by 4,4%, to 611 million, while broadband customers they reached 3 million, an increase of 4,2% over the year (+118.000). L'Ebitda dropped to 800 million euros (-11,1%) in organic terms.

During the half year, Vodafone launched a plan to offer voice and data connectivity even in areas where there is no ultra-broadband and has already reached around three thousand municipalities in all Italian regions.
