Vodafone Italy and sindacati have signed an agreement that includes an expansion contract for i contact center. The agreement, explains the group in a note, is based "on the regeneration of skills, new hires in roles with a high innovation content, the performance bonus and the possibility of accessing voluntary early retirements".

Il expansion contract is intended for 1.870 Guests of contact centers, which will face an intensive retraining plan for a total of one million hours of training. With equal pay, an hourly reduction of 25% of working time is envisaged, which will be dedicated to strengthening skills in customer relationship management and developing them for new roles essential to support corporate strategies. 

The training and retraining programs, certified by Luiss Business School, will last for 18 months starting from September 2021 and also provide for the release of Open Badges which certify the skills acquired and the level of knowledge of the English language.

In the context of the initialed agreement, at least were also foreseen 100 new hires with a permanent contract by March 2023 in the company areas that concern the technological, commercial and staff functions.

The agreement also provides for the possibility of accessing the early retirement, which allows workers who acquire the right to an old-age or early pension within the five years following the termination of the employment relationship to receive an amount corresponding to the pension they would be entitled to.
