Starting June 15, Vodafone eliminates roaming costs in Europe. All consumer (rechargeable and subscription) and business customers - reads a note from the telephone company - will therefore be able to use their national rate in European Union countries at no additional cost, in compliance with the conditions set out in European Regulation 2016/2286. The cost of package offers, consumption rates and additional calls, text messages and Giga will be exactly the same as in Italy.
Vodafone – recalls the note – was the first operator to eliminate roaming for consumer subscriptions and the business offer in May 2016. The Red plans provide for calls, text messages and Giga also included abroad. From 15 June, Vodafone has extended the roaming included in the countries of the European Union to the other offers.
