Vodafone: Drivexone is born to monitor your car through your smartphone

Vodafone thinks of all those motorists who are so fond of their car that they want to keep it under control even from a distance, when they are at work for example. And so it launches Drivexone, the new service that allows you to monitor your car through your smartphone.

To use Drivexone, simply install a small device in your car, connecting it to the diagnostic port (Obd) present on models introduced in production since 2003. The installation of the device, equipped with a SIM for data transmission over the cellular network and a GPS locator, is intuitive and can be done independently, without resorting to specialized technicians. All you have to do is download the Drivexone App on your smartphone with an Android or iOS operating system.

The cost of Drivexone is 3 Euros per month, including data traffic in Italy and in the main European countries, while the initial fee for the device is 79 Euros.

In this way, car owners will be able to: check the position of their car at any time, because they have forgotten to park; monitor and verify the actual use of the vehicle, while not driving; receive notifications on the state of the car and reports on any anomalies; review the times, distances, average speeds, routes and places visited during your travels.
