Vodafone: SPC tender contracts signed

On the occasion of its participation in the three-day Forum PA, Vodafone announces that it has concluded the signing of the contracts with the central administrations that it had been assigned a year ago, as part of the Consip tender for the Public Connectivity System.

Among the administrations of which Vodafone will be a partner for the next 7 years: the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, the Council of State, the Ministry of Health, the Guardia di Finanza and INAIL, as well as numerous local Public Administrations.

In parallel with the closing of the agreements, Vodafone also completed the conformity testing of the transmission offer and services, thus obtaining the go-ahead for their provision.

During the year, Vodafone's role as a partner of the Public Administrations was further strengthened, also thanks to the awarding of the framework agreement of the tender for fixed telephony services of the PA.

Thanks to its experience and an offer that integrates high-speed mobile and fixed connectivity with digital, cloud, Mobile Analytics and IoT solutions, Vodafone supports the digital transformation of Public Administrations, on the one hand to simplify internal processes and respond to optimization of resources, on the other hand to enable the provision of more efficient and innovative public services that guarantee greater proximity to citizens.

And just as part of Forum PA, Vodafone will participate in three round tables (“Technological innovation and sustainable development” Tuesday 23 May 11.15 -13.30 – “Smart Working conference for a new organization of public work” Wednesday 24 May 9.30-11.30 – "Executive working table - Data Driven Decision using data to govern phenomena" Thursday 25 May 9.30-11.30) to talk about how a telecommunications operator can contribute to the technological innovation of the PAs with a view to sustainable development.

From solutions that enable smart working, to promote a better balance between professional and private life, productivity and environmental impact, to Mobile Analytics and Internet of Things solutions which, through the collection of mobile network data, allow for intelligent planning cities, offering services increasingly in line with the real needs of the communities.
