It is the goal of the agreement between Vodafone e Deloitte to give life to the “Vodafone Center for Health” project, a partnership dedicated to developing innovative products and solutions in the healthcare sector, to improve access to healthcare and the quality of care. The project will involve various local realities in Europe with future prospects for further expansion. 

The "Vodafone Center for Health“, was conceived as a latest generation virtual centre. It will combine the best connectivity solutions offered by Vodafone with Deloitte's strategic consulting and innovation expertise in the healthcare sector. This combination will make it possible to improve the delivery of health services, creating a more efficient and widespread use model in application domains such as telemedicine, remote patient monitoring and connection on hospital campuses.

According to the recent survey by the Vodafone Institute, 92% of European citizens surveyed think that the health sector needs a lot of support through the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). In this sense, the "Vodafone Center for Health with Deloitte" can give concrete support to healthcare in hospitals, but also to society and citizens.

Aldo Bisio, CEO of Vodafone Italia, underlined how the “remotisation of health services manages to bring people home, to treat them and to do so with greater continuity. Starting from technology, we shorten distances to arrive at elements of humanization, at a higher level of social equity".

Both companies are committed to using their networks and capabilities to improve access and quality of care around the world. Vodafone already connects more than 20 million devices to the healthcare sector globally thanks to theIoT, AI, 5G ed Edge Computing. For example, Vodafone and Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf are building Europe's first 5G-connected campus at the university hospital.

On the other hand, Deloitte has 24 professionals in its global Life Sciences and Healthcare team and a proven track record of providing best-in-class service to healthcare organizations facing the rapid adoption of cutting-edge digital solutions.
