From 19 September Barbara Cavaleri will take over the leadership of the Finance Department of Vodafone Italia, reporting directly to the managing director Aldo Bisio.
Barbara Cavaleri, who joined Vodafone Italia in 1999, has held roles of increasing responsibility including Head of Planning, Control and Business Intelligence, until taking on the role of Finance Director of Vodafone Group Technology in 2014. Previously Barbara Cavaleri was a Senior Auditor and consultant for numerous multinational companies.
With the entry of Barbara Cavaleri, the number of women on Vodafone Italia's Executive Committee rises to four, reporting to the managing director Aldo Bisio.
From 19 September Colman Deegan will leave his current position of Finance Director of Vodafone Italy to assume the role of CEO of Vodafone Turkey.
Colman Deegan, who has been with Vodafone since 1998, has held positions of significant international responsibility including that of Vodafone Group Merger & Acquisitions Director and Finance Director of Vodafone India. Previously he had finance experience at Dresdner Bank Ireland and Davy Stockbrockers.
