Vivendi sells 27,27% of Ubisoft for 2 billion

In agreement with the Guillemot family, the Bolloré group will no longer be a shareholder in the company and has also undertaken not to buy any shares for five years.

Vivendi sells 27,27% of Ubisoft for 2 billion

Vivendi sells its stake in Ubisoft for around 2 billion euros, in agreement with the Guillemot family. This is a share equal to 27,27% of the company's capital, acquired over the course of three years for an amount of 794 million euros. The shares will be sold at 66 euros per share.

After the transaction, Vivendi will no longer be a shareholder in the company and has also pledged not to buy securities for five years. In particular, 18,3 million shares will be sold to qualified investors through a private placement.

Of these, 9,3 million will go to already identified investors. Another 3 million shares will be sold to Guillemot Brothers through Credit Agricole. Finally 9 million pieces will be sold to Ubisoft itself.
