Vintage, fashion or investment collecting?

Cambi Casa d'Aste presents for the first time in Milan an auction dedicated to Vintage fashion. More than 250 lots of designer jewelery and accessories will be exhibited at the Palazzo Serbelloni offices from 6 to 9 April.

The appointment promises to be unmissable for collectors in this sector, which has seen a strong increase in recent years, and will be an opportunity for even the youngest to approach the world of auction houses.

The sale offers lots from different periods of production and from different countries such as a rhinestone brooch by Eisenberg from the 50s, a set made up of a brooch and clip earrings by Monet, up to the more famous flower-shaped brooches by Chanel.

Also very interesting is a private collection of about forty pieces, all produced by the artisan costume jewelery company Ornella Bijoux, founded in Milan in 1944, which collects necklaces, brooches, bracelets and earrings from the 60s to the 80s; some of these pieces were exhibited in the exhibition dedicated to the Casalmaggiore Bijou Museum.

The catalog also includes amusing sculptures from the 80s that depict Disney characters, all coming from a Milanese collector.

The same auction will also include a selection of "minor" jewels, almost 200 lots at decidedly attractive prices, but in any case chosen for their originality, good workmanship and great portability.
