For the Milan Wine Week, the Tuscan consortium has set up a tasting area, food pairings and themed seminars on a floating boat that will sail for the entire duration of the event on the Naviglio Grande

A particular boat will sail on the canals of Milan until 10 October for the entire duration of the Milan Wine Week 2021. It is the Chianti Lovers Boat that will embark wine enthusiasts sailing on the Naviglio Grande to discover Chianti wine, offering tastings, food pairings and seminars theme.

But we will also talk about Chianti on land, 36 places including restaurants, wine bars, cocktail bars, throughout the Navigli district will have over 50 Chianti DOCG references on their menu in combination with the best recipes.

Companies and operators from all over the world are instead expected at the Wine Business City, a B2B event scheduled for 3 and 4 October at the MegaWatt Court in Milan, where there will be a large area under the Chianti brand with 22 associated companies.

The first international masterclass on the theme of Chianti DOCG will be held on Monday 4 October at Palazzo Bovara. A horizontal tasting by sub-zone of the 2019 vintage in connection with London, New York, Miami, Chicago and Toronto. Sunday 10 October, again at Palazzo Bovara, second international masterclass, this time with a focus on Chianti Superiore DOCG: a special vertical tasting from the 2019 vintage to the 2012 vintage, this time in connection with Moscow, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
