Vinifera Forum: we talk about wine, poetry, cinema and theatre

Twelve appointments dedicated to the artisanal wines of the Alpine Arc and their producers through poetry, cinema, art and theatre. The third edition of the Vinifera Forum promises to feature a busy calendar of meetings distributed in various places in the province of Trento over the course of four weeks. The review precedes the Salone di Vinifera, the exhibition-market dedicated to artisanal wines from the Alpine Arc, scheduled at the Trento Fair on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 March. That of the Forum is a approach path to the two days of Vinifera, designed to make the producers and the philosophy of the Salone known to the public: sharing, exchange and dialogue to make the wine and those who make it speak.

The curtain on the Forum will rise on Sunday 23 February at 11.00, when Rosso di Mattina will be at the Virgolette space in Trento. A matinee between cinema and mountain wines. Ermanno Olmi's film Le rupi del Vino will be screened, followed by tastings of wines from Valtellinese and Trentino heroic viticulture.
Friday 28 February will instead be the turn of Little Big Stories of Poetry and Wine, an evening of poetry slam between six poets with a challenge to the last line and the last sip. The appointment, in collaboration with AltroVerso, is scheduled at 19.00 at the Social Stone in Trento. The following day, Saturday 29 February, starting at 17.00 it will be possible to visit the Comai farm in Riva del Garda and take part in a tasting guided by young winemakers Marco and Andrea. The visit is organized in collaboration with the Il Buco Association.

On Monday 2nd March space will be given to the theater with Die Panne: a theatrical show with wines and unexpected events, which will be staged at the Andromeda Art Studio in Trento at 17.00. To close the show a tasting of wines from heroic viticulture. We continue, Tuesday 3 March, with De Humile Inventione. Motti, strambotti and Tavole Contadine, peasant readings by the La Grottesca Association, followed by the tasting of wines from the Francesco Poli farm. The appointment is at Porteghet in Trento at 19.00. At Caffè Gambrinus in Rovereto, on the other hand, a different Valpolicella is discovered: on Wednesday 4 March, at 19.00 pm, it will be the turn of Valpo Revolution: reconnect the origins of wine, a journey to rediscover Valpolicella led by the winemakers of Revalpo.

Saturday 7 March at 11.00, in La Corte di Rovereto, it will be the turn of Degustando alla Corte, tastings of solidarity cuisine accompanied in an aperitif guided by the wines of the Tenuta Dornach – Patrick Uccelli farm. Tuesday 10 March at 19.30 pm, at the Circolo Santa Maria di Rovereto, appointment instead with Volcanic wines, tasting of five wines from vines that they sink their roots deep into mineral-rich soils. The Opificio delle Idee in Rovereto, on the other hand, will host Acido – Acido on Thursday 12 March at 18.00: the doors of the Klanbarrique alchemical workshop will open for a guided tasting of acid-based drinks. Friday 13 March appointment at 20.00 at the Osteria della Malaombra in Trento with the theatrical evening Allegro but not too much…: dialogic monologue between truth and wine, stories of people who have had a paranormal contact with their souls.

To the Silence of Rovereto, however, on Tuesday 17 March at 19.30 there will be Alpine wines and macerations. Grawü wine tastings, natural wines able to tell the energy of the mountains where they come from, accompanied by cicchetti. Finally, the last appointment of the Forum will be on Friday 27 March at 16.30 pm, when it will be possible to visit the Martinelli di Mezzolombardo farm.
