Vidal, decisive hours: 60 million for Juve

The next few days will be the decisive ones to discover the future of the Chilean Juve midfielder, for whom a 60 million offer from Manchester United is rumored to be floating – Inter are trying to close for Medel and work on Osvaldo or Hernandez for the attack – Milan must sell Robinho before buying.

Vidal, decisive hours: 60 million for Juve

Decisive hours for Arturo Vidal. In fact, from one moment to the next (at the latest within about ten days) fundamental developments will arrive to know his future. Which, to date, is divided equally between a stay in Turin and a transfer to England. “We have clear ideas – thought Marotta. – The player has recently renewed and has never expressed his intention to leave”. Important words which, however, are not enough to reassure the black and white people. In fact, more than a closure to Manchester United and Liverpool, that of the Juventus general manager seems like a dig at the Chilean. As if to say "if you want to be sold, you have to take responsibility for it in front of the press and fans". Then the fact remains that the maxi offer from United, if confirmed, would not leave even the Lady indifferent. In fact, the 60 million we are talking about would be irrefutable, especially for a player who is so young (27 years old) but not very young. The real problem would in any case be represented by the salary which, in the court of Van Gaal, would be almost doubled (from 4 to 8 million). In short, the clues lead to a sale but the most important proof is still missing: the clear and decisive position taken by the person concerned. Massimiliano Allegri will speak at the press conference today: it is unlikely that there will be any revelations even if it is probable that, before the meeting with the media, the coach will have an interview with Vidal. Which will be followed by a face to face between Marotta and the prosecutor Felicevich, perhaps even more decisive. While awaiting the final response (which could upset the strategies), the general manager continues the retouching market. After Evra, Morata and Pereyra, here comes Romulo from Verona. “We have entered into negotiations, I hope everything can be closed within 24 hours” Marotta explained last night. And the Italian-Brazilian will not be the last signing. “We still need an attacker and a defender – continued the general manager. – We are ready to seize the opportunities that will arise”.

A bit like the Milanese, even if for them the market is decidedly slower. Inter hopes to soon overcome the last obstacles for Medel, relating to price (a couple of million are dancing) and payment methods. In this sense Cardiff was clear, the figure is the same and there will be no discounts. A big boost could come from the sale of Guarin: Monaco and Manchester United like the Colombian. Just with the English there could be a meeting shortly in which Hernandez will also be discussed. On the attack front, however, Osvaldo remains the favourite, partly due to the borderline situation at Southampton (with Koeman it's the Cold War and for the press across the Channel the agreement with Inter is in the pipeline), partly because more appreciated by Mazzarri than the Chicharito. On the other hand, Jovetic is removed from the market, who after having "matted" Milan publicly made it known that he wants to stay at Manchester City. Speaking of the Rossoneri, here too he needs a good wake up call. The team is incomplete and the setbacks in the first summer friendlies (8 goals conceded in two games) are causing the Inzaghi effect on the fans to evaporate. The problem is always the same: before buying you have to sell. “Tomorrow (today for the reader, ed) at 16 I will meet Robinho – Galliani's point. – There is an offer from Olympiacos about him and the interest of some Brazilian clubs, while I have never received a request from Besiktas”. Selling the Brazilian is complicated due to his salary (3 million net) but it is the only way to then buy the full-back requested by Inzaghi. Cerci, Douglas Costa, Campbell: all eligible names, but also expensive ones. Taking them will be difficult, especially if Balotelli really were to stay at Milan. “He's our centre-forward, he remains at 99,999%” explained Galliani. Precise choice or lack of offers? Impossible to say with certainty, but that periodic 0,001 causes some doubts…
