The exhibition, an official collateral event of the Architecture Biennale, will remainà open from 26 May to 25 November 2018, and takes place in different exhibition spaces.

Each location offers different itineraries, the rooms of Palazzo Bembo host the projects of individual studios and artists, the Palazzo Mora site exhibits some of the results of research carried out by universitiesà like Tongji University, American University of Dubai e Curt Fentress & North Carolina University and the Marinaressa Gardens are dotted with site-specific sculptures by internationally renowned architects' studios such as the studio Libeskind.

The architectural sculpture Facing Gaia, designed by Daniel Libeskind and Yama Karim, highlights the'instabilityà of the future of planet Earth highlighting the role of'human being in the change of'whole ecosystem. The mammoth steel structure è a white tower that overlooks the Venice Lagoon at the center of which è set a convex mirror that reflects the surrounding greenery of the trees of the Marinaressa Gardens. To incorporate the mirror into the sculpture è been employed there'innovative GRIP Metal mechanical gluing technology®, a detail that suggests the contrast between human technique and the natural environment. Libeskind in a'interview given to PLAN-SITE for the GAA Foundation declares: "L'architecture è, in a certor trivial sense; anyone canò build a building, but there'appearance civico dell'architecture not è banal, è culture. This è ciò in which I believe".

At Palazzo Bembo, Curtis Fentress shows us his personal reading of the space of'airport as civic space. Fentress predicts that in the future we will be led to make greater use of these non-places that are already in the world todayà 50.000. The task of'architecture è to make these places more comfortable, making security-related checks less invasive, creating "incubators for globalization" in which the'meeting between people and exchange is possible.

At Palazzo Mora the projects of the eight finalists and the four winners of the Young Talent Architecture Award 2018 (YTAA), promoted by the Foundationó Mies Van Der Rohe with the support of the Creative Europe programme.
