An exclusive week of events celebrates the union of two pillars of Made in Italy. Involved luxury brands, national wineries, historic buildings, restaurants, 5-star hotels, boutiques and the streets of the center of the capital

Harvest in Rome: fashion and wine occupy the places of luxury

The world of fashion and the world of wine, two pillars of Made in Italy, enliven a week of luxury in Rome with a series of events that form part of "The grape harvest in Rome", the initiative now in its third edition, which involves the major luxury brands, the most prestigious national and international wineries, historic palaces, between Via Condotti, Spanish Steps, Via Borgognona, Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, Via Bocca di Leone, Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, Via Fontanella Borghese boutiques, restaurants and 5-star luxury hotels.

It begins on Monday 14 October at Grand Hotel Plaza with an important training moment reserved for the Store Managers, Management and sales force of the brands present in the area, a day dedicated to topics useful for integrating and enriching the sales approach towards a selected type of clientele. In fact, technical, statistical, behavioral and functional topics essential for improving sales and service performance to international customers will be addressed.

Tuesday 15 October, for sponsors or for those who have joined the VLE (VIP Lounge Experience), various experiences dedicated to the wine or truffle shopping with private visit to exclusive spaces. The Wine and Truffle Experience, on the other hand, takes place in specific lounges selected exclusively for the sponsors for reserved tastings with the fine wines of the Gran Cru Committee, a multi-sensory experience to learn to recognize and appreciate truffles.

Wednesday 16 exclusive evening with the Reserved gala dinner to entrepreneurs, exponents of the brands and sponsors participating in the event, which will take place at Palazzo Albani del Drago, headquarters of the Law Firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners, the second location partner of the Vendemmia.

Thursday 17 will be the turn of the key event of the Harvest, a large and exclusive made in Italy party which this year will involve over 80 fashion boutiques, which will host the guests in the evening to present the latest collections and introduce and taste some of the most prestigious Italian wine cellars associated with the Gran Cru d'Italia Committee. Furthermore, this year, the luxury brands of Fiumicino will also be added thanks to an agreement with Aeroporti di Roma to organize the grape harvest in Terminal E of the Leonardo da Vinci.

The novelty totally reserved for millennials is the Vendemmia Young (dress code Colorful Night), an exclusive party dedicated to the high level target of millennials and thirty-year-olds which on 17 October, after cocktails in the boutiques in the center of Rome, will be organized Casina Valadier, third location partner of the Vendemmia, an evening with an open bar, DJ Set organized by RDS Dimensione Suono Soft (media partner of La Vendemmia di Roma).

On 18 and 19 October the experience continues: during normal opening hours, the participating Boutiques will guarantee some benefits to customers in possession of the VIP Card, such as a tasting of the best wines, expression of the boutique's partner winery, the opportunity to receive your purchases directly at the hotel/home, a dedicated sales assistant and the possibility, on request, to go shopping after opening hours.

Furthermore, throughout the week, the most exclusive restaurants in the center of Rome will create special menus, with a focus on wine, and will offer a special tasting of selected wines by the glass, while customers and guests of participating 5-star luxury hotels will have the opportunity to taste ad hoc menus that include food and wine pairings and take advantage of exclusive hospitality packages, a further initiative aimed at increasing the national and international tourist influx.
